The Moccasin Lake Recreation Area is located 25 miles north of Antigo, WI on Hwy 45 and about 3 miles west of Elcho, WI. This beautiful area is surrounded by county-owned land that is dominated by maple, birch, pine and large, beautiful hemlocks. Amenities and recreation opportunities include:

This trail is free of charge as a service to the public and solely funded by your donations. The Moccasin Lake camping area offers a primitive area for overnight horse riding adventures. There is ample room for grazing as well as fire rings, picnic tables, a vault restroom and fresh drinking water available. This camping area is on a first come, first serve basis and free of charge. Please consider donating to keep this area available.
