Crocker Hills Recreation Area



The Crocker Hills Recreation Area is located about 18 miles east of Antigo, WI on Hwy 64. This vast, county-owned property weaves you through beautiful rolling scenery of northern hardwood forest types. Amenities and recreation opportunities include:

Winter:
  • Sled Dog Trails
  • Skijoring Trails
  • Vaulted restroom
Summer:
  • Equestrian Trails
  • Equestrian Overnight Camping
The Crocker Hills Equestrian and Sled Dog Trails offer 15.3 miles of trails that traverse you through a variety of different terrains for an exciting ride!

The Crocker Hills Equestrian Campground is a primitive, equestrian campground located near the trailhead and parking area. This campground is on a first come, first serve basis and free of charge. Donations are appreciated. Amenities include vaulted toilets, an open-air shelter, hitching posts, manure pit, picnic tables, fire rings and a hand pump for fresh water access.

This trail is free of charge as a service to the public and solely funded by your donations. Please consider donating to keep this trail system up and running; a donation box is available at the trailhead. The maintenance and grooming efforts are done completely by volunteers from the Langlade County Sled Dog Club and Triple R Horse Club, please visit their Facebook pages for more information!
