Campgrounds and Cabins
The Langlade County Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department operates and manages campgrounds located at Jack Lake, Perch Lake and High Lake. Reservations are recommended at Jack Lake and Perch Lake. High Lake is available on a first come, first serve basis. Jack Lake has three cabins available for reservation. All three campgrounds have various accommodations; please click the “Camping” icon at the top of the page to view more information! More info on Perch Lake Campground coming soon! Reservations
We start accepting 2024 reservations the first business day after the new year (January 2rd, 2024) at 8:30 am. Reservations will be available for Memorial Day weekend to mid-October. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. Reservations for Perch Lake Campground will be available beginning on July 1, 2023. Cancellations
If you cancel your reservation at least 10 days from your check-in date, you will receive a full refund (minus the reservation fee) in the form of a credit code that will be applied to your online account. If you cancel your reservation within 10 days of your check-in date, your full amount will be forfeited. You are able to cancel your reservation yourself by logging into your online account. You can also edit your reservation to add on a night, shorten your stay or push your reservation to a different time period by logging into your online account (edits must be made at least 3 days before check-in date).

Dispersed Camping on the Forest
Camping in undeveloped areas of the County Forest is authorized. Dispersed camping within ¼ mile of any developed recreational facility or park is a not allowed. Use of campground facilities or amenities at Jack Lake Campground, Perch Lake Campground, and High Lake Campground is not authorized for any person utilizing dispersed camping unless those users obtain a permit and pay the associated fees. Occupancy and dispersed camping on County lands by any person shall not exceed 14 consecutive days, regardless of location. Dispersed camping by groups of 6 or more people require a special use permit issued by the Department. Contact our main office for information regarding special use permits.
