High Lake Campground (Primative Sites)
Located along beautiful and remote High Lake, this campground is a short drive from Veteran's Memorial Park providing a more primitive and remote camping experience. High Lake is a pristine, crystal-clear lake surrounded by hundreds of acres of county-owned forest, rich with recreational opportunities and wildlife. The campground is situated on the lake’s east shore with a boat landing for the lake within the campground. The lake provides excellent fishing opportunities and access to hiking trails is directly from your campsite. Experience a remote non-motorized lake with no other development, paddling galore!
The campground consists of 5 individual tent only campsites, with a picnic table and fire ring included. These sites are a short walk from vehicle parking, varying from 50 feet to 300 feet of trail, most provide access to and/or views the lake.
Reservations/Registration:
High Lake Campground follows the same policies and procedures as Jack Lake Campground. Reservations are available for all campsites. We start taking reservations the first business day after the new year at 8:30 am. Reservations will be available May 15th to December 7th , 2025. Reservations can now be made up to your day of arrival based on availability.
Camping Rates:
High Lake Campsites: $ 15.00/night

Reservations must be made on-line for all campsites
PLEASE NOTE: Once reservations are made, no cash refunds are provided!
CANCELLATIONS:
You are able to cancel your reservation yourself by logging into your online account.
Cancellations more than 7 days from your check-in date, will receive a refund less the reservation fee & credit/debit card convenience fee in the form of a credit code for future use at the campground.
*A credit code in non-transferrable, may only be used by the account it was issued to, and may not be combined with other credit code(s) in a single reservation transaction.
Cancellations 7 days or less of your check-in date, will be result in forfeiture of all reservation fees. Please note this includes reservations made less than 7days of planned occupancy.
Reservations may be edited to add on a night, shorten your stay or push your reservation to a different time period by logging into your online account (edits must be made at least 7 days before check-in date). Additional nights may be added less than 7 days before check out by creating a new reservation if your reserved site is not already reserved by another party.
For online reservations we accept all major credit/debit cards.
*Please note that a convenience fee will be applied to all transactions online.
Credit Card - $1.50 for every $50
Debit Card - $3.95 flat fee per transaction
Langlade County does not receive this convenience fee and it is not refundable.

Facilities included a vaulted toilet facility, fresh water hand pump, boat launch, hiking/biking trails, shoreline fishing opportunities and a small parking area for vehicles and boat trailers. Wood is available, self service and monitored by surveillance camera. Approximately 1 miles from Veteran’s Memorial Park which provides many activities for the public.
